Caledon lowers flags to honour #Humboldtstrong

The Town of Caledon is lowering flags to honour the family, friends and community of Humboldt following the tragedy of the bus crash that claimed 16 lives in Saskatchewan.

The lowering of flags at Town Hall and Town facilities is the latest in a series of memorials enacted in the past week:

·        The Town last week placed hockey sticks outside Town Hall and throughout town facilities;

·        On Thursday, April 12, 2018 Town staff participated in #JerseysforHumboldt (photo below)

·        Following remarks by Mayor Allan Thompson, staff held a moment of silence in the Town Hall Atrium on April 12.

·        Flags will be lowered at Town Hall and other Town facilities on Monday, April 16.
