2019 FESTIVALS & EVENTS STUDENT LEADERSHIP AWARDS ANNOUNCED

Provincial organization recognizes festivals and events student leader


London, Ontario (February 28, 2019) Festivals & Events Ontario (FEO) is proud to announce the 2019 Student Leadership Award. This award recognizes a student with exceptional potential, passion and dedication who engages in activity with the aim of bringing communities together for the purpose of celebration. Festivals & Events Ontario believes students pursuing a career in event management will have a tremendous impact on the growth and future of this budding sector.
 
The Student Leadership Award is designed to recognize students’ efforts and accomplishments within the scope of festivals and events sector. The successful recipient of the Student Leadership Award for 2019 received a $500 bursary during the FEO annual conference “ENGAGE-Motivate-Initiate-Participate” in London, Ontario.
 
FEO would like to congratulate the following 2019 Student Leadership Award winner:
 
Leah Letford – Student (Niagara College, Event Management Post Graduate Certificate),
                        Niagara-on-the-Lake
 
The “ENGAGE” 2019 Festivals & Events Ontario Conference was held in London, Ontario from February 26-28, 2019.
